Theme: The value of each soul to God.
Scripture: Luke 15:3-7
Message:
Like the lost sheep, many people are wandering aimlessly without hope. God loves you deeply and desires to bring you back into His fold. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins.
Imagine a shepherd who leaves his ninety-nine sheep to search for the one that is lost. This is how much God values each soul. He is not willing to lose even one. In Luke 15:3-7, Jesus tells the parable of the lost sheep to illustrate God’s immense love and the joy in heaven over one sinner who repents.
You may feel lost and without direction, but God is actively seeking you. He wants to bring you back into His loving care. Jesus Christ came to earth, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed Himself on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins. His resurrection from the dead offers you the hope of eternal life.
Call to Repentance:
Return to God with a contrite heart. Acknowledge your sins and turn away from them. Embrace the forgiveness and new life that Jesus offers.
Sinner’s Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I am lost and without hope. I believe You are the Son of God who died for my sins. I turn to You and ask for Your forgiveness. Amen.
Growing as a New Child of God:
- Develop a personal relationship with God through prayer and Bible study: Spend time daily in God’s Word and in prayer to grow closer to Him.
- Join a local church community: Fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you in your faith journey.
- Seek guidance from other believers: Learn from those who have walked the path of faith before you and can offer wisdom and support.
May this message remind you of your immense value to God and inspire you to return to Him. Remember, just as the shepherd rejoices over the found sheep, there is great joy in heaven over your decision to follow Christ.
